Every Wednesday

The Capitol Hill Jazz Jam (CHJJ) is a weekly jazz jam session held at Mr. Henry’s Restaurant in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington D.C. every Wednesday from 8-11 PM. The jam session, formed in February 2015 by saxophonist Herb Scott operates every week and has hosted instrumentalists, vocalists, tap dancers, poets, and many pillars of the local arts community. Friday Feature

Each and every Friday, Mr. Henry’s offers up our Friday Feature – showcasing Jazz Bands and Acts comprised of local musicians, and occasional out of town guests. You might find some familiar faces, we have Aaron L. Myers every 4th Friday, and you might get introduced to a new sound and a new band. Check out more of our line up here!

Saturday Showcase

Each Saturday, Mr. Henry’s hosts our Saturday Showcase allowing local singers from our great city to serenade upstairs. Continuing the great musical tradition that started with Roberta Flack, we love to host good music with great food providing customers with dinner and a show. To top it off every 3rd Saturday we host Julia Nixon for her double header shows at Mr. Henry’s! Find more additional information about our line up here
