Kemi Adegoroye

Born and raised in the DC metro area, Kemi Adegoroye is a singer, actor, producer, and writer who grew up listening to jazz and Motown during car rides to school, visiting the Kennedy Center and Broadway to see countless concerts and musicals, and singing in choirs in high school and later on in college, where she toured internationally with her university chapel choir. Her musical tastes span a variety of genres, from jazz, pop, gospel, and musical theatre to folk, classical and soul. In 2013, she released her debut Christmas jazz album, Coming Home for Christmas, under her production company, 13 Roses Productions.
